An introductory sewing machine workshop designed for those who want to start in a simple, practical way, without technical pressure.

DETAILS ABOUT THE EVENT
Description / Program:
Module 1: Trouser pattern-making.
Learn how to construct the basic pattern for wide-leg trousers step by step. By the end, you’ll have the technical skills needed to adapt and grade your pattern for other sizes in the future.
Duration: 3 hours
Price: €40 (VAT included)
Module 2: Trouser making.
What you’ll learn: Ideal for those who want to get straight to the sewing machine. You’ll work from an existing pattern (where you can choose the size to make) and sew your own garment from scratch.
Duration: 3 hours
Cost: €45 (VAT included)
Each participant will:
Learn how to construct a basic paper pattern (in various sizes);
Make alterations to the pattern;
Full Module (Optional);
Create your first garment, which you’ll take home.

We’ve designed this workshop to be flexible: you can sign up for just one of the modules or complete the full experience and take home the knowledge of the entire process from start to finish!
Duration:
Each module will last 3 hours.
Total duration of the full workshop: 6 hours
Price of the 1st module: €40 (including VAT)
Price of the 2nd module: €45 (including VAT)
Total: €85 (including VAT)
Each participant will:
• learn how to use a sewing machine
• experiment with different types of stitches
• gain basic control and confidence
• create a first simple piece (pouch or tote bag)
Required materials:
• sewing machine (can be provided if needed)
• sewing kit (threads, pins, fabric pen)
• 15–20 cm zipper
Other important information:
No previous experience is required.
