Mosaic initiation

Every decision we make in our daily lives somehow affects the world around us, be it the community, the environment or living beings.

Change begins with our thoughts, then our homes and finally our lifestyles.

 Mosaic is a decorative technique that consists of inlaying small pieces of stone, ceramic, glass or other materials onto a surface to create designs or patterns. This technique dates back to Greco-Roman antiquity.

What we're going to do:

Each participant will learn a little about the material in question, how to upcycle it and all the tools needed. Next, we'll work together to design 3 different compositions and then each participant will choose their final composition and the colors they've chosen. At the end, each participant will take home a mini mosaic.

Final finishes

Materials included:

Ceramic waste, glue, base and wooden frame

Materials needed:

Each participant should bring 1 or more broken, cracked ceramic pieces that they want to use.

Duration:

2 hours

Maximum number of participants: 10 people
