‘En plein air’ is a French term meaning “in the open air”, and that's exactly where you'll find the largest and most beautiful studio in the world! This workshop offers a fantastic introduction to drawing outdoors.
For beginners as well as people with years of artistic experience, drawing outdoors is a unique pleasure, but it also presents its own challenges. In this workshop, you'll be able to draw your surroundings, but more than that, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in everything you contemplate around you - feeling, smelling and being part of your own work.
Over the course of 5 sessions, we'll visit and explore 5 different Lisbon gardens and parks through drawing. Stefan will guide you in capturing the play of light and shadow, as well as the hidden shapes, textures and patterns of nature, using simple tools such as charcoal, pencil or brush. As you…
