Woodcut is not only one of the oldest high-pressure techniques, it is also one of the most challenging. Despite the starting restrictions, this working method makes it possible to achieve impressive aesthetic and artistic quality. To discover the complexity of woodcut, participants follow the sequence of this very particular technique step by step, with its specific challenges. Accompanying the entire artistic process - from cutting the wood to printing by hand - enables the participant to creatively explore the valences of the technique and emphasises the enjoyment of discovery.
