‘Tufting – Tapestry Workshop’ // 150 – 1 or 2 people

The workshop covers all stages of the tufting process: an introduction to the tools, time to practice before starting the rug, choosing or creating the design, tracing it onto the canvas, creating a custom rug with cut or loop pile guns, spreading latex glue on the back, using the electric trimmer, and a demonstration of the coating and finishing steps. The rug is ready for collection or free shipping in 2 to 5 days. Each ticket is valid for one person or for two people sharing the gun and canvas.

Program:

- Presentation - Introduction to tufting tools and materials.

Hands-on learning on a test screen;

- Select and trace the design on the screen;

Lunch break (1 hour 30 minutes);

- Creating the rug using tufting;

- Final touches - Apply the latex, trim the carpet, and demonstrate the final steps (done after the latex has dried).

The rug will be ready for pickup or delivery within 5 business days.

What you will learn:

How to use a tufting gun - cut pile or loop pile technique;

- How to trace and transfer the design to the tufting screen;

How to apply latex glue and trim carpets with an electric trimmer;

Finally, professional ceiling and finishing techniques are demonstrated.
