‘Group Alchemy Journey’ Workshop // €50

Description:

In this workshop you’ll learn how to alchemise emotions into artistic creation.

A guided journey through shadow work, Reiki, ritual, and intuitive ink art, moving through the four classical stages of Alchemy: blackening, whitening, yellowing and reddening.

Together, we will explore what you are ready to shift, release or bring into your life, moving from inner reflection towards creative expression.

Programme:

This workshop moves through the four stages of the alchemical process —

We begin with Nigredo — turning inward and exploring the shadow: what is ready to be seen, acknowledged or released.

Moving into Albedo, we create space for clearing and renewal through guided reflection and a group Reiki experience.

In Citrinitas we will gather for a heart opening cacao ceremony, allowing for what wants to be brought into creation.

Finally, in Rubedo, we move into the creation of our Alchemy Art:

Working with the expressive qualities of specially prepared inks and tools we will use breath, movement and chance to access the unconscious and create a visual expression of your inner landscape.

You'll then work with Alchemy Studio’s specially designed Katagami-inspired stencils, transforming the spontaneous ink patterns into a unique finished artwork to take home.

Drawing on the idea that any piece of art is a fractal of the maker’s consciousness at the time of its creation, this artwork becomes a visual anchor to the state you arrive at during our time together.

All necessary materials are included.

Other important information:

No experience is necessary. The process is intuitive, experiential and open to everyone.

The workshop will be held in English.

Participants must be over 18 years of age.
