Workshop Flowers on Fabric: Bundle dyeing with homegrown flowers // 37€ or 50€

Curious to explore the world of natural dyes using locally-grown materials? Join Annette from Tinctorium Studio at Fabrica Moderna in Costa da Caparica for a day of vibrant natural colors from home-grown flowers from Annette’s garden.

In this workshop, you’ll get a super fun introduction to natural dyeing by using flowers to bundle dye a silk scarf or an organic cotton tote!

We’ll review the mordanting process, explore the surprising colors that can be achieved from easy-to-grow plants (you might find they’re already growing in your garden!) and play with binding techniques and color modifiers to get different effects on the fabric.

You can choose between two versatile accessories (a silk 70x70 scarf or an organic cotton tote) that will easily incorporate natural color into your every day life. Even better, there will never be two exactly like it - just like you!

The workshop will taught in English but any questions can be clarified in Portuguese.
